The New Zealand Maori Arts and Crafts Institute (Te Puia) is committed to ensuring the privacy of individual information. This information can be personally identifiable information or aggregated information. This Privacy Policy (Policy) tells you about the collection, use, disclosure, security and accessibility of information.

Collection of Information

Te Puia operates the website and the Emotiki® app. Te Puia collects information about users that use the website and app to purchase merchandise, this includes information on:

  1. Personal information provided voluntarily through sales, PayPal, telephone, fax, , competitions, , correspondence or contact in person.
  2. Aggregated data which includes measuring traffic, referring sites, origin of users and traffic patterns to our websites and app. This information does not identify you personally and is not linked to the personally identifiable information that you may have provided.

Te Puia collects this information in order to provide the best possible service to you while you are visiting our sites. The information that you provide may be used for the following purposes:

Google Analytics Display Features & Google Remarketing

The Te Puia website uses Google Analytics Demographics and Interest Reporting the Google AdWords remarketing service to advertise on third party websites (including Google) to previous visitors to our site. It could mean that we advertise to previous visitors who haven’t completed a task on our site, for example haven't made a booking. This could be in the form of an advertisement on the Google search results page, or a site in the Google Display Network.
